Power Distribution

Ibeos offers state-of-the-art power conversion, management, and distribution assemblies that are suitable for missions from low earth orbit to interplanetary environments.  These products are designed for the space environment.  They provide tolerance for both single event and total ionizing dose radiation effects with best-in-class efficiency, size, weight, and power.  Custom configurations are also available, contact info@ibeos.com for more information.

150-Watt CubeSat Electric Power Subsystem (EPS)

  • 150-Watt S/A input, peak power tracker, 3.3-Volt, 5-Volt and 12-Volt outputs, and power distribution functions

  • TID of 30 kRad and SEE survival at LET > 55 

  • I2C and SPI command, control, and data handling interfaces

Ibeos offers energy storage solutions with a design life that exceeds other Smallsat and Cubesat products on the market today.  Ibeos' products are designed with overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protections.  Our acceptance and qualification testing includes cell capacity matching, temperature testing, and life testing to ensure our products are built to the highest standards.  

14V / 45 or 90 Whr Modular Smallsat Battery

  • 45-Watt-hour modular lithium-ion battery; can be packaged in pairs to create 90 Watt-hour modules

Computing

Ibeos provides bus and payload computing solutions suitable for all types of space environments.  Our radiation tolerant EDGE payload processors provide on-board processing power that ranges from 300 GFLOPS to >1 TFLOPS.  Our assemblies provide a mix of serial interfaces for communicating with bus and payload assemblies.  Custom configurations are also available, contact info@ibeos.com for more information.

  • Powerful processor with 300 GFLOPS for mission data processing

  • 4 ARM cores with up to 2 GHz clock speed

  • 256 GPU cores with up to xyz clock speed

  • Ideal for image processing, RF signal processing, SAR, and other high-throughput computationally intensive applications

  • Available in a 1U CubeSat form factor, with a custom SpaceVPX carrier card available for integration with a SpaceVPX chassis
